Five years ago we decided to create a new family tradition, our very own holiday... we call it Fire Dog Day (because when we had our first holiday Elijah was little and called hot dogs 'fire dogs' because they are cooked on a fire). Our Fire Dog Day consists of a bonfire with roasted hotdogs, s'mores and sometimes a new family game or movie. This year we were blessed to have our 'adopted' parents over for the evening, Mr. Lonnie & Miss Alma.
Visiting while Tony manned the grill. It rained :-( so no bonfire this year.

Aren't his eyes just dreamy... :-)
We had a really great Fire Dog Day 08! Won't you plan to join us November 13, 2009 for our next one?

Look at Grandpa's hands holding Joseph... that's a man who is comfortable around children, and that's a good thing! So loving and tender and confident!
So glad you had a good time. Ü
Thanks for sharing.
