Perspective

ANTARES IS THE 15TH BRIGHTEST STAR IN THE SKY

IT IS MORE THAN 1000 LIGHT YEARS AWAY.

NOW TRY TO WRAP YOUR MIND AROUND THIS

THIS IS A HUBBLE TELESCOPE ULTRA DEEP FIELD INFRARED VIEW OF

COUNTLESS 'ENTIRE' GALAXIES BILLIONS OF LIGHT-YEARS AWAY.

BELOW IS A CLOSE UP OF ONE OF THE DARKEST REGIONS OF THE PHOTO ABOVE.

HUMBLING, ISN'T IT?

Hi Dana,
Have you ever watched those DVD's by Louie Giglio? They're fantastic; especially the one on Laminin! We watched it again today. :)
It's good to be reminded of how small we really are, and yet how much God loves us!

No Kathy, I am not familiar with him or those videos. Can you send me a link?

And as Elisabeth Elliot said in one tape I used to have... she quoted a Scotsman and his brogue, "and the Bible says in brilliant understatement, 'and He made the stars also.'"
